Alan has over 20 years experience of working in the Oil & Gas sector. This has been gained in a cross-section of the industry:

Supply Chain Management in a Supply House, with an Operator and a Drilling Contractor.
Human Resource Management with a Drilling Contractor, a Manufacturing organisation and a Global Downhole Marketing and Service Company.
Executive Search consulting in an international recruitment company.

Alan provides a balanced perspective when evaluating candidates across the supply chain of companies. Having built a team of 16 staff as a Senior Manager himself, he fully understands the issues of man management, human behaviour and the need for strong leadership.

Alan is a Graduate of the University of Aberdeen and is currently a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Management and a Member of the Institute of Directors
