Search
This is generally called the “headhunt”
and it is appropriate in a number of different circumstances,
the key one being the search for a Manager, Director
or Technical Specialist.
A Search can also be used for mid-level positions,
however, the larger the pool of people with similar
skills and experience, the less cost-effective a search
becomes for a single vacancy. If there are multiple
requirements for a similar position, then a search can
become economically viable again.
Watson Search Partners operates a robust process which
involves the creation of an Assignment Brief document
which covers a concise history of the Client Company,
a rationale for the recruitment exercise, a detailed
job description, a precise candidate specification,
and the essential terms & conditions of employment.
Research is carried out to identify potential long-list
candidates for pre-screening and selection for face
to face interview assessment. Overseas candidates are
screened by telephone. Shortlists are produced which
generally contain 2 – 4 candidates. Full evaluation
reports are submitted complete with CVs.
